The Health Hazards of Sitting


I have experienced changes in my body and my mind this last year from increased sitting. When I don’t have a full day on my feet teaching and hiking, I set a 30-40 minute time limit on how long I sit at my desk. I have tried supportive cushions and furniture, but nothing works better than a walk around my block and some simple yoga stretches to keep my body happy all day.
